When I planted these bulbs years ago, I had no idea that they were quite as aromatic as they are. Now, they are one of the signs of spring. The daffodils are up. The plum tree explodes in blooms. My Daphne are smelling wonderful. And these blue flowers are stinking up the place. It's funny too because you always smell them before you see them.
I could just dig them up and get rid of them, but despite the fact they are stinky, they have become a sign that winter is ending.

It's the yin-yang thing.. Good with the bad.. But they are lovely flowers.. And a signal for spring isn't a bad thing!! :):)
