Week 30: Walking My Camera

Since it was so freaking hot over the weekend, I decided to take my camera for a walk under the large trees in a nearby neighborhood.  Oh yeah, and take photos too.

BTW: Photo tip that I like passing along to people who try to shoot photos on a bright and sunny day - a  day where it is too bright and sunny - shoot in the shade of a tree.  Colors are right - lighting is good but not too bright.  Good trick.  One that I was skeptical about but ended up adopting as my own.

I like the pattern on the center of the flowers.

Loved the effect - the sharpness of the flower in the background.  Good light too.
